| Florence Aung-Collins, BScPT, BSc (Hon. Physl), Cert. Med Acupuncture (U of A) Physical Therapist |
Florence graduated form the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree I Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physiology. Since graduating from physical therapy, she has pursued a variety of post graduate courses to enhance her practice. She has completed the Certificate Program in medical Acupuncture (University of Alberta), and the Level 3 components of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy (Canadian Physiotherapy Association). Florence has also completed courses in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (The Robin McKenzie Institute Canada), upper quadrant procedures in the Mulligan Concept, and the Sahrmann program of Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement System Impairment Syndromes (Canadian Physiotherapy Association). During her career, Florence has practiced in different clinical settings (work conditioning centre and interdisciplinary team). In addition to physical therapy, Florence also practices acupuncture part time in a private medical acupuncture clinic. Her areas of special interest are in acupuncture and chronic pain. |

| Darren Frohlich, MScPT, BScKin, CSCS Physical Therapist

Darren graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to completing his Physical Therapy Degree, he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. Darren is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has completed the Level 3 component of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Darren has participated in community, club, and provincial volleyball and beach volleyball for 15 years. In the last 5 years, he has become actively involved with ultimate frisbee, competing in tournaments in the United States as well as at the national level. He is also an instructor in injury management and general stretching techniques with the Running Room. | ||

Kendra Hatch, MScPT, BSc Physical Therapist ![]() |
Kendra graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, and a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction. She is in the process of completing her Level 1 acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She is also advancing her manual therapy skills through courses in the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and is currently completing the Level 2 components. Kendra’s athletic background includes softball, volleyball, and basketball. Clinically, she has developed a special interest in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. | ||

Courtney Heise, MScPT Physical Therapist ![]() |
Courtney graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to completing her Physical Therapy Degree, she acquired a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree with a major in Exercise Science from the University of British Columbia. During her time in Vancouver, Courtney gained extensive practical experience in athletic training through her work as the head varsity therapist for the UBC Men's Volleyball team. Currently, she is in the process of completing the Level 2 components of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Courtney is an exercise enthusiast and avid runner. She has a special interest in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries. | ||
| Kristin Milligan, MScPT, BSc Physical Therapist

Kristin Graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. She has completed the Level 3 component of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and manual manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Kristin has also trained in the Mulligan treatment technique for the upper body. For 20 years Kristin studied the dance disciplines of jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical and hip hop, competing and performing in North America and Europe. She has also instructed and choreographed dance for 6 years. Kristin has a special interest in the rehabilitation of dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters. She is also an instructor in injury management and general stretching techniques with the Running Room. | ||
| Heather Sawitsky, MScPT, BScKin Physical Therapist

Heather graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction. She is progressing through Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has completed the Level 2 components. Heather has also completed the Level 1 Part 1, 2A, and 3A courses through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She is also trained in Trigger Point Release therapy. Heather is an avid enthusiast of outdoor sports including rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking. She competes at National Level competitions for indoor rock climbing, as well as instructs indoor wall climbing at the University of Alberta. | ||
| Jacqueline Willis, BScPT, CAFCI, RCAMT, MedAPC, CGIMS, GTT Physical Therapist

Jacquie graduated from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. She has continued professional training in various aspect so of the profession. She has completed the Intermediate level of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a Resident of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She is a member of the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation, has a Certificate of Medical Acupuncture, and works with dry needling techniques including Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Gokavi’s Transverse Techniques (GTT). She is currently furthering her training in the management of osteoporotic clients as well as facial rejuvenation techniques involving the use of acupuncture. | ||
| Anthony Yong - BScPT, FCAMT, BPE Manual Physical Therapist ![]() |
Anthony graduated from the
Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. Since graduating, he has
successfully completed the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual
Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is
registered as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. His
involvement with athletics includes: Physical Therapist for the Edmonton Rush
Lacrosse Club of the NLL, Medical Advisory Board member with World Health,
instructor of injury management and general stretching classes at the Running
Room, Physical Therapist of the Saint Albert/Spruce Grove Saints Junior “A”
Hockey Club, Assistant Therapist for the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club,
Physical Therapist for the 2001 IAAF World Track and Field Championships, and U
of A Varsity Athletics to list a few. Clinically, Anthony has a special interest in the rehabilitation of spinal (neck and back) injuries and helping to prepare future Physical Therapists as a Clinical Placement Instructor for Physical therapy students from the University of Alberta. Anthony combines manual therapy and active exercise programs in assisting in the optimal recovery of his patients. He also speaks Cantonese for those who may require a Cantonese speaking Physical Therapist. |
